Ongoing
Programmes:
When working on a continual programme, over
a set time-span, at the start of each session
the focus is on what each delegate has done
since the previous session. This usually centres
around anything that the trainer has asked
the individual to do back in the workplace
(“work-work”), as well as giving the delegates
the opportunity to discuss any positives or
issues that have occurred. As the programme
progresses the delegates become more comfortable
with this process; previous feedback from
clients has shown that they find it extremely
beneficial, as they realise their own strengths
& weaknesses & find they are not necessarily
alone! The delegates are encouraged to comment
on each other’s actions, fostering an environment
of supported coaching.
At the end of each session, we will give
each delegate specific “work-work” that they
need to do for the next session. This will
not be in the form of written work as such,
as we give relevant tasks for their functions.
This enables the delegate to deal with pressing
issues immediately & “try out” the content,
with the on-going support to ensure they can
use it effectively & more importantly
make the necessary behaviour changes.
We find that one of the keys to making behaviour
changes is that the delegates have to take
responsibility for their own work & decisions;
the group environment encourages this process.
