“Institute of Leadership & Management” (ILM) is a premier body with almost 100 years experience in the field of leadership & management in the UK and internationally. Every year, ILM recognises the professional development achievements of managers from team leader to board level, as well as managers of small businesses and those responsible for quality, energy, the environment and human resources. Well over half a million managers have improved their own performance and brought real benefits to their employers by taking part in programmes such as these.

MacFarlane Ltd are accredited to offer professional Leadership qualifications on behalf of ILM, these flexible modular programmes are available to team leaders, first line managers, new managers and prospective leaders in any sector.


Belbin Team Role Accreditation

Originally developed by Dr Meredith Belbin at Henley Management College whilst observing managers taking part in various team exercises. This resulted in the emergence of nine different team roles, which are recognised as a key methodology for team development and team building. The process provides detailed analysis of team roles of individuals from which roles can be developed and teams can be lead to a more effective performance.

MacFarlane Ltd are accredited to offer the “Team Role Accreditation” process to individuals and teams as part of development programmes or as a stand alone activity. We are able to integrate the “Belbin Team Role Accreditation” process into a wide range of our development programmes as an additional service.


Solicitors Regulation Authority

MacFarlane Ltd is an accredited provider of continuing professional development on behalf of the Solicitors Regulation Authority. This enables solicitors who work with us to claim CPD points for any activity undertaken.

The wide range of programmes we offer on leadership, business development, marketing and communication are a small range of areas where solicitors can gain professional accreditation for learning undertaken with ourselves.


Business Link National Consultants Register

As an accredited provider on the BL NCR we are able to provide support, consultancy and development to our clients and where appropriate access Business Link funding as an approved supplier. This accreditation is also a demonstration of our quality systems and performance with clients, as accreditation is dependant on references and client recommendation.


Invest in Skills (South Yorkshire)

As an accredited provider of the Invest in Skills programme MacFarlane Ltd are in a position to offer a range of funding solutions to clients in South Yorkshire in support of there learning. Again this accreditation is dependant on a range of quality criteria being met and client references.
